Churn Your Own Butter

Step back in time and have a go at making butter the old way, by hand.

Each child takes a turn at the churn, watches cream turn into butter, and finds out why it was once such a valued and labour intensive part of daily life.

Once it’s ready, everyone tastes their handiwork on a cracker, then wraps their pack of butter to take home.

An adult must be present with your child  AT ALL TIMES.
