INFORMATION
Please read all the terms and conditions – paying for a course implies that you agree with these conditions.
Firstly, this class should be fun and inclusive. If you have any extra needs please let me know beforehand as I will try my hardest to make my courses accessible to you.
You glass art will need to be heated in a kiln and cooled very slowly over a period of 20 or so hours, at least once so your artwork will not be available to you on the day. I will arrange for you to collect it a week later, or I can post it to you for an additional charge of £6.
Glass is sharp but by using common sense and following basic safety we can keep accidents to a minimum! Please do not wear open-toed shoes or sandals: trainers are ideal. Old clothes or an apron can keep you from getting dusty, and because the glasswork has to be transported to the kiln, a bit of glue will be used.
If you need to cancel please give as much notice as possible. I will try very hard to move you to a different session, but if that’s not possible then a full refund can only be given with a week’s notice: if you do not turn up your fee cannot be refunded.
A taster session is just to get you started on your fused glass journey: if you have any big projects or a particular aim in mind please talk to me as I would be delighted to do one-to-one sessions or a longer course.
These classes are suitable for anyone over 14 years old (14 – 16 with a participating adult). Children’s courses, using pre-cut and ready-made pieces of glass will be available soon.
